What impact does Nocturia have on your life?
Nocturia can be troublesome in itself, by interrupting sleep, and can have a significant impact on the quantity and quality of sleep. According to the public opinion programme survey conducted by the University of Hong Kong in 2004, night-toilet is the primary reason(46%) for mid-night awakening.

Lacking quality sleep could lead to:
- Reduced daytime energy;
- Reduced concentration, memory and cognitive function;
- Reduced mood and increased depression;
- Prolonged reaction time (slower response);
- Increased risk for traffic accidents;
- Increased cardiovascular risk factors including increased glucose tolerance, metabolic and immune suppression; that subsequently increased the risk of cardiovascular disease and mortality.
